Like many professionals today, Al Fragnoli’s career has taken a number of turns. But unlike most, his career, which started in education and coaching, evolved into business ownership when his passion for leading and inspiring led him to Intelligent Leadership Executive Coaching (ILEC), the world’s top executive coaching franchise.
Fragnoli learned about ILEC through a franchise consultant after deciding to look into business ownership in December 2020. Fragnoli felt right away that ILEC was the perfect outlet for his passion and experience, and he quickly got the ball rolling. “The whole process took about four months,” he said.
“The one thing I really loved is that there is already a program in place,” Fragnoli said. “I liked the model of having a support team and having someone there to assist when need be.”
After receiving his undergraduate degree in education in 2009, Fragnoli began working in education and coaching sports teams. He went on to pursue his masters degree in sports management before landing a job in sales for the Buffalo Bisons and then as an associate area scout for the Toronto Blue Jays.
He was in the sports industry for several years and ended up working in sales with the Pittsburgh Pirates before he decided to leave the sports industry to do sales for Miller-Coors distributor in southeastern Michigan. Now with ILEC, Fragnoli is a Michigan-based leadership coach, harnessing his experience in the fields of sports and education to coach other leaders in these industries to better lead, teach and inspire those in their charge.
